With baby boomers are getting older, the retirement living sector is considered a thriving industry for investment. To gain insights into this sector, we attended The National Retirement Living Summit on the Gold Coast in June 2023, hosted by Property Council of Australia. Our Directors were fortunate to attend this fantastic event and engage with inspiring speakers on the value the retirement living sector offers in response to the demographic challenge that is Australia’s ageing population.

As we all know, the Lifestyle community model (also known as ‘Manufactured Home Estates (MHEs)’ has gained increasing popularity across Australia in the recent years. This model is considered as the new retirement village alternative. At this Summit, we gained a detailed business model insight.
Property Council of Australia and PwC also released their first post-COVID snapshot of the 2022 Retirement Census.
